Feeding San Diego

1st and 3rd Thursday of the Month, 9am-10am Feeding San Diego is on a mission to connect every person facing hunger with nutritious meals by maximizing food rescue. Free food available for pick up in the parking lot of the library.

Knitting Group

Tuesdays | 5:30pm
Join us where adults and teens meet at the library to knit. Don’t know how to knit, no problem. Drop by and learn how.

Tech Help

Fridays | 10am-12pm
Need help navigating technology? Drop by to ask us your basic computer and phone questions and receive one on one help.

Make and Take Craft

Saturdays | All day
Drop by the library Saturdays and create a new craft every week.

Storytime

Saturdays | 10:30
Join us in the children’s area for storytime every Saturday! We will have Dance Party Storytime, Storytime with crafts, and Bilingual Storytime once a month.

Scholarships

Kaj Salzanois the recipient of our Molly Jean Featheringill $1000 Scholarship.  He plans to attend college in Ohio which will provide opportunities for academic, athletic and personal growth. His goal is a mathematics degree and playing collegiate tennis. He loves tennis and won the league CIF in doubles twice and in singles once!

Kaj is a bight, smart young man and it shows in his grades and personality!

Leah was the recipient of the Molly Jean Featheringill Scholarship and was so excited to receive the Shirley Somes Continuing Education Scholarship. She will be a senior at Point Loma Nazarene University in the Nursing Program. Leah would like to become an Obstetrics nurse when she graduates and enter the workforce as a Labor and Delivery Nurse.
